I use git myself, just like anyone else's dotfiles i've ever found on
the 'net.

Thankfully I never had the need to use that, at least for now. Also the
web versions often suck, anyway. It's even worse with a poor network
connection. I'd recommend something else for doing that, like
https://screego.net/ which is self-hostable.

Aside from configuring pam_xdg(8) and seatd on FreeBSD, I had no much
issue with Wayland and stuff, at least by now.
