First off, happy new year!
Now with that said, last Sunday (December 29, 2024) I decided to run away from home with quite an elaborate ploy, and managed to go to the trai station.
During the train ride, I've been chatting with wafu in near real-time, as he was going to Plaza Italia, in Palermo by bus.
Around the time I finally arrived in Palermo Station, I had to go find him myself, unfortunately, Google Maps wasn't of much help.
He told me he was standing around a book fair which he had mentioned eariler on his Misskey, and we met in person at last.

We toured the Ecopark (formerly known as Buenos Aires Zoo) all the way until the Japanese Garden, where we even took photos, and I wasted most of my earlier paycheck in food alone, though I managed to have a pair of chopsticks.
We even made origami! ("we" would be quite a stretch here, I didn't really do anything, at least I tried).
Later that day, we went to China Town by bus, took us nearly half an hour to get there, and also toured around.
By the time I wanted to have my hands on an alcoholic drink, I realized I barely had cash with me.
After we were done, we parted ways and bid each other farewell and returned home.

And that's how I spent my day off from work.
